A word from the team
It all started back in 2022, when Tobias and his grandfather went for a walk. He showed him the property and encouraged him to create something special here. From the very first moment, Tobias could see the potential. However, he knew he couldn’t do it alone.
So, Tobias shared the idea with two of his closest friends, and they were immediately on board. Since then, we’ve been working on this project, nearly every day, putting in consistent effort.
We firmly believe that Lyngen Aurora Resort will become a standout destination in Northern Norway. The breathtaking natural landscape here is our greatest asset, and we’re committed to preserving it by creating separate accommodations that immerse guests in nature. From the comfort of your cabin, you can witness the midnight sun in summer and the northern lights in autumn and winter.
Who we are and what defines us
Koppangen Panorama is a tourism company founded by three ambitious entrepreneurs from Nord-Troms and Finnmark, dedicated to creating unique accommodations and nature experiences for our clients. Our mission is to foster activity and employment within our region while enhancing the tourism landscape.
Over the past two years, we have built a robust network and established strategic agreements within the local community, which we consider a significant advantage as we launch our tourism business. Our extensive preparatory work has allowed us to form partnerships that ensure a diverse range of offerings throughout the year, positioning us as a viable year-round destination.
We prioritize a seamless and accessible experience for our customers. Our services encompass the entire journey, including transportation, accommodations, meals, and activities, making it easy for clients to choose us for their travel needs.

The Engineer
Lasse is a trained engineer from UiT and serves as project manager at Kvitebjørn Varme AS, overseeing customer relations. With strong technical expertise in plumbing and electrical systems, he brings valuable skills to the team.
Lasse was key in building Alta District Heating, contributing in roles such as engineer and general manager. His experience includes proposal writing, staff hiring, procurement, contract negotiations, and operations management.

The Chairman
Øyvind brings a wealth of experience from his diverse background, having worked as a teacher from 2009 to 2017 and as a car salesman from 2017 to 2024. Through these roles, he developed strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of client relations.
Since 2013, Øyvind has also focused on private property, gaining valuable insights into construction, budgeting, and financial management—skills that are crucial for the success of our company.

The General Manager
Tobias has nearly five years of experience leading teams in the Norwegian Armed Forces as an officer with a bachelor’s degree from Krigsskolen. He also spent a year as a machine operator in construction and has nearly three years of experience in the tourism and short-term rental sector in Lyngen.
His strengths include strong work ethic, adaptability, and expertise in organization, leadership, and collaboration.
